Sam came up with a great project for us. She used the left over core from our masking tape. Then asked me to do my papier mâché to give them a little more shape. We sanded and gessoed them. Then finished them with paintings inspired by old masters. Modigliani. Picasso. And Monet.
This is the left over center core from our masking tape.
We taped different widths together to create a gentle curved shape.
Papier mâché is layered around the base to smooth it out.
